NSW - Cobram/Barooga
Quicks Beach is located in the Cottadidda State Forest. At Barooga turn onto Hughes Street and about 700 metres on turn right at the large cream house with the windmill onto Quicks Beach Road. At the end of this road turn right at the Cottadidda Park sign then again at the sign '1km to Quicks Beach'. It is a good dirt road. The campsite is situated on a long level sandy bank of the Murray River. There is some shade but no ammenities. Features include, big rigs, fishing, swimming, canoeing and skiing.
NSW - Griffith - Willow Park
Willow Park is a rest area and picnic grounds located in Kookora Street, which runs off the main street, Banna Ave. It is only 1.5km west of the PO and walking distance into town. It is a pleasant green grassy area next to a wide irrigation canal. Facilities include flush toilets, water, shade and its a large area. You are allowed to stay 48hrs.
VIC - Yarrawonga
Yarrawonga Murray River is 4 km west of Yarrawonga, which is west of Albury, on the river. Facilities include shade and its a large area. 36 01 21 S 145 58 18 E
VIC - Noojee
Noojee Rest Area is located on the Latrobe River. Facilities include toilets, showers, water and shade. 37 53 31 S 145 59 57 E
QLD - O'Connell River Tourist Park
O'Connell River Tourist Park is located just 22 km south of Proserpine, on the Bruce highway. It has full facilities, allows pets, a pool, a dump point and many more features. They also offer very competitive rates.
QLD - Babinda
Facilities at this campsite include, toilets, a cold shower, water, dog friendly and a big area for large vehicles. You are allowed to stay for two days, and it is located only 200 metres from town, on the river. Babinda is located 41 kms south of Cairns. The rest area is located east of the townsite over the railway lines, at the south end of Howard Kennedy Drive.
QLD - Texas
Texas rest area is located on the river at Texas. Facilities include toilets and hot showers in town, dogs allowed, shade and its free. There is no time limit on the NSW side and on the QLD side there is said to be a time limit of 14 days but there are no signs. Texas is located SW of Stanthorpe. This is a lovely place to camp.
